Slater Creek Performance Horses is committed to tradition, with our own bit of flair mixed in. We believe that every horse and every horseman is a thread keeping cowboy traditions alive, and that each and every one of them has God-given talent within them. We've competed in everything from cowhorse to mounted shooting, and would love to help you make your biggest dreams come true! Our goal is to bring up the next generation of the horse industry with the tried and true values that this industry was founded on, such as faith, patriotism, integrity, and perseverance. Bailey Brewer
Bailey launched her training and coaching program in 2019. She bases her method on sound horsemanship principles gleaned from working with countless mentors and continues to grow her craft every chance she gets. From the show ring to the ranch, Bailey brings out the best in her equine partners to let their individual skills shine. She has worked with everything from yearlings to world champions and couldn't pick a favorite if she tried. Bailey holds multiple world titles in ranch horse disciplines and has recently added mounted shooting to her roster!
Nate Reams
Nate is a Men's Level 4 mounted shooter with the CMSA. He is also the current president of Eastern Iowa CMSA. He has traveled across the country chasing down balloons and fast times with such rewards as multiple top 5 world titles, regional championships, and state high points. Watch that cowboy fly! Nate bring patience and a passion for work to the training pen, providing future champions with the confidence they need to succeed as proven by his recent success in ranch classes!
